The Outpatient Clinic Mental Health Service provides comprehensive mental health care to the community. At KMHC we have a full-time Mental Health Nurse, a part-time psychiatrist, and the collaborative expertise of our Family Medicine Doctors and wellness nurses, a nutritionist, and various specialists. Additionally, there are two Home and Community Care Mental Health Nurses, bridging the gap between clinic-based and community support. Our strong connection with local pharmacies ensures the smooth management of medications. We are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space for individuals navigating the complexities and challenges related to their mental health. As part of our comprehensive and longitudinal primary care practice we have created a strong collaboration with the Traditional Medicine Program at KMHC and a referral to their team is often integrated into our care planning. The mental health services are committed to fostering an environment that respects and supports the unique journeys of all our patients.
