Breastfeeding Support

The Breastfeeding Support/Breastfeeding Promotion Program has been around for 24 years. Breastfeeding support works closely with the well-baby clinic. They are always available to make sure your breastfeeding is as successful as possible.

The program offers support and encouragement through telephone consultations, home visits or via Facebook and invites you to attend the Breastfeeding Support Group meetings held monthly.

The Breastfeeding Support Group Meetings provide Support and encouragement that moms need to enjoy the wonderful experience that Breastfeeding should be. If this is your first baby or your fourth: If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding your newborn or wondering about weaning your toddler: this group is for you. The KMHC invites you to attend our monthly group meetings so we can answer your questions. The Breastfeeding Support Group meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at the home of the Breastfeeding Peer Support Worker.
