General Internal Medicine is a specialization for clients with medical conditions impacting their internal organ systems, such as  cardiovascular (heart), respiratory (lungs), gastrointestinal (stomach and intestines), nervous (brain, spinal cord and nerves), musculoskeletal systems (bones and joints), endocrine (thyroid, pancreas, adrenals etc) and immune systems.
